DD has a birthday party tomorrow at a swimming club, the little girl is getting Elizabeth as a surprise from her Grandmother. It should be alot of fun [img]smile.gif[/img] Sunday is clean , laundry and get ready for another week of work [img]smile.gif[/img] Then the week starts all over again [img]smile.gif[/img] Happy weekend to everyone [img]smile.gif[/img]
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Have fun at the Palmer House. I stayed there in November with 5 GFs. We had 3 rooms. What a great hotel. The weather was beautiful and we walked everywhere including AGP. We went to the art museum and so many of the fabulous paintings (I think the Renoirs) were donated by Mrs. Palmer. Supposed Mr. Palmer built the Palmer House in her honor. The lobby is just beautiful. One night we had brandy alexanders at the hotel bar just off the lobby. They were fabulous and so was our waitress. The staff there is really nice and accomodating. Happy early birthday. [img]graemlins/present.gif[/img]Quote:

I'm going to the mall Saturday afternoon and then my roomates and "honrorary roomates" (you know, the people that might as well be, because they never leave) are going to monopolize the washing machines because it's free laundry weekend on campus and hang out in the lobby watching tv DVD's, reading, homework, sewing, jewelry-making, or whatever else we decide.

Okay, these could change because DS-11 developed a fever last night and has a sore throat. He had an overnight friend last night (there's no school today) and we had to take him home.
Today, I'm covering for a coworker who is spending time with her sister. I ordinarily don't work on Fridays. DS-15 is going with a friend to a church function at 7 p.m.
Tomorrow, as long as DS-11 is feeling up to it, his team is playing a non-league basketball game against a Seattle team just for the fun of it and for extra practice. Before the game I will be prepping our informal dining room (our only dining room), getting ready to paint the wainscotting and moldings around the sliding doors and ceiling. The top walls and ceiling were freshly painted in July but then family things happened and I'm just now getting back to finishing up the room.
Sunday, DS-11 has a league game at 6 p.m. and then afterwards we'll be having a late dinner at Chan's Place (it's Chinese New Year - year of the dog), and we've invited Grandma to come with us and one of DS-15's friends. I will also be either still prepping the dining room but hopefully will actually be doing some painting.
Well...I managed to pick DD up, go shopping, and come home and crash. I slept for hours. I got up, made supper, and a few pieces of jewelry.
I didn't go antiquing with my sister, mom and niece. I was afraid I would just be a drag to have with! The meds I'm on make me so sleepy!
I'm going to make banana bread for DD to take back to school, make some more jewelry, and go visit my sister this evening...if I'm awake. [img]wink.gif[/img]
Did you ever find out what is causing your illness? Is your tooth problem? A neighbor of mine had symptoms drag on like this for a long time and she was finally diagnosed with Lymes Disease.
Do you make jewelry to sell or just for yourself?

I attended a "homegoing" today; but I am also managing to have a nice little ME vacation. I have uninterrupted 100% use of my cousin's computer; we just had a big BBQ...no one saying, "Mom, what's for dinner" or "Time for you to pick up Sarah from school....." etc....(you know what I mean)...<font color="red">mwahahahahaaaaa.....</font> [img]graemlins/plane.gif[/img]
